TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Shamit School follows the CBSE curriculum. It is a co-educational English medium institution with Hindi & Marathi as the additional languages. Innovative techniques are used to enhance lifelong learning through technology, multiple intelligence, varied instructional strategies, and interdisciplinary units. Group activities and discussions are an integral part of the curriculum. Apart from class lessons, textbooks and examinations, we also provide classroom activities and take home assignments in the form of worksheets and project work. The worksheets are carefully designed to stimulate learning beyond the textbook. Field trips are also a part of the curriculum for a more practical and hands-on learning experience. Our students are taught different concepts using different methods. There is evidence that suggests children are able to retain information better by studying the same thing through different techniques.
