Co-scholastic activities are integral part of our school & their proper organization needs just as much care & forethought as the scholastic activities. All-roundness is the theme of modern education which recognizes that when the child comes to the school, he comes for mental, physical, social, spiritual & vocational education and as such he must be educated and nourished in all of them. School lays emphasis on Life Skills, Work Education, and Attitudes & Values along with Visual & Performing Arts, and Physical Education.

Through Life Skills we teach children various aspects of communication and emotions, how simple but strong foundation will help them overcome any difficulties they might face in the future. Work Education equips them with the simple skills & techniques that which are basics of small enterprise that they may start at any given point. Attitudes & Values induce the crux of living in the children, which covers manners, behavior, family values etc.

Co-scholastic activities are instrumental for drawing out the best potentialities of the child. Boosting the place of the co-curriculum in school will equip young people with the civic spirit, initiative and organizing skills to set-up their own clubs, teams and activity groups when they leave education. The normal curriculum can only go so far as to teach & educate students about academic theories; co-curricular activities prepare students practically for future.

We have a wide variety of activities organized for the students within the school time (and are still expanding). These activities are supervised by teacher who are experts and interested in those activities & where they act as facilitators. We have dedicated at least 1 hour everyday solely for Physical Education where we impart practical & theoretical knowledge of each Sport. Every student at Shamit is equipped with the rules, regulations & technical terminology of each sport he/she learns. Each activity is evaluated and detailed records are maintained for each.
