The library at Shamit is fully equipped and spacious which houses an extensive collection of books, periodicals, and newspapers that caters to all age group in the school. The library currently has a collection of at least 1500 books and 15 various magazines /periodic books covering various categories, languages and subjects. Weekly one book is issued to every child. Children from Grade 1 onwards get a separate reading hour which helps them to increase their reading skills. Over here, children develop their imagination on a different level, through peaceful sessions of language and storytelling. We have also developed easy access to the eLibrary through KINDLE^© which houses more than 1 Million+ eBooks across various subjects and interests. It is a special library with a focused collection of digital objects that can include text, visual , audio & video material, stored as electronic media formats.
