At Shamit, we follow practical approach to learning. We consider, children respond better when being engaged in practical activities, rather than reading from textbooks. Activity is the greatest motivation for children. It is observed that children, enjoy the freedom of expressing their potentialities during activities. To make the teaching learning process interesting, we follow an activity-based curriculum where children plan, organize and execute the lesson plan from start to finish. This creates an openness and spirit for experimentation in the classroom. Children learn to apply their creative ideas, knowledge and minds in solving problems as well as promoting competitive spirit among them. This method also develops children’s personalities, social traits and inter-personal management skills.
